When you add the NC-8100h Print / Fax Server you can connect your MFC into your network (LAN) and use your MFC for Internet Fax, Network PC Fax, Network Scanner (Scan to LAN), Web-browsing PhotoCapture CenterTM and Network Printing.

To manage these network features Brother supplies Network Management tools in the form of BRAdmin Professional software and also includes an embedded web server allowing you to use a standard web browser to manage the product.
